Weekends

They go so fast. We fit so much into them. The variety is unbelievable.
This weekend I:
  • Had dinner with all of our mothers and one of my dads, plus Grandma Dee
  • Saw a very crabby Izze for a morning
  • Saw a very happy Izze for a morning
  • Took my Izze-Kitty to the Enchanted Forest
  • Went on a date with my husband
  • Went to bed at 9pm
  • Stayed up till 1am
  • Woke up at 6am
  • Slept in until 9am
  • Took my baby on her first horse ride
  • Won $50
  • Took a nap
  • Started my own buisiness
  • Made a homeade alfredo sauce pizza!
  • Played in the leaves

And now I'm ready to end this crazy busy but fun weekend with a nice litte time in bed watching desperate housewives!

Its Friday...but really its Tuesday

Since its Tuesday, which is Friday, I am letting go of my stresses and my worries because if you break it down (as seen in the previous post) it sounds pretty damn scary. So instead of causing and emotianal strain, I will instead start thinking about the weekend and whats ahead. I can not change the past and what has been done, I can only deal with the present and make clearer and better choices in the future.....so instead of whining....I'm going to give thanks!

I have never been a big thanksgiving fan. Really it is just an excuse to eat a lot and when I was my cute skinny self and excuse to dress up all cute. But now that I'm growing up, I figure any chance i have to show the reasons I'm thankful is a good one....so here I go, I'm going to be thankful:

  • I'm thankful for my wonderul daughter and loving husband whom make every day worth living
  • I'm thankful for family that is close and loving and accepting.
  • I'm thankful for freinds who are there for me when I need them and who love me for my flaws instead of inspite of them. Breaking this down further:
    • I'm thankful for Christina who forgave and forgot and who has been a huge part of my life
    • I'm thankful for Stephanie who has been an adopted sister for so many years
    • I'm thankful for Amy, Deanna, and Jenny whom I may not see as often as I'd like, but I still love fiercly!
    • I'm thankful for Amber and Crystal who have stepped up to help someone they have never met and care for anyways.
    • I'm thankful for all of the Pixies who are such good listeners adn supporters that I can't even express it in words! They are generous and thier hearts are full and they are the best ladies I may never meet but always hope I will!
    • I'm thankful for girlfriends and future wives of my DH's friends, especially Natalie and Cathy, who have made hanging with the boys that much more fun!
    • I'm thankful for all of my friends, even if I didn't name you, you know who you are and how important you are to me! I love each and everyone of you!
  • I'm thankful for my job, my home and my car and all those things I take for granted!
  • I'm thankful for my puppy kisses everytime I walk through the door, and my kitty kisses when they feel the need for companionship.
  • I'm thankful that I have food on my table each and every night.
  • I'm thankful for my health. It may not be perfect, but it can always be worse!

Almost the weekend!

Wow the weekend just ended and its almost the weekend again! I love this. Thanks to Thanksgiving I have no work on Thursday and Friday and thanks to my daycare being closed I took a personal day on Wednesday to spend with my girl. That means tomorrow is FRIDAY! I'm very excited about this. After all I made a few too many productive choices this weekend and not enough lazy ones. But in all of that productiveness we visited the in-laws, got a few free meals, put up the outdoor christmas decorations and even went shopping (adults only!).

Thank god for this short week because my brain function is at a minimum! I think that even though I have FINISHED my christmas shopping, I will probably go to the mall of america on Wednesday and walk around with Izze in her storller, she loves that. Its a good way to exercise without doing anything. I love taking the easy way out.

This has to be my least interesting entry yet, and thats because as I said before, my brain is not functioning. I just keep writing random thoughts......I'll be back when my brain works better!
