Girls weekend!!!

LOVE my girls weekends. Not nearly frequent enough. Last October, last May (we went to Vegas, and bad bad blogger forgoet to mention it), and now this weekend!!!!!

Cant wait for the next one though its not planned yet, I'm gonna HAVE to sweet talk them into a spring trip!

Yay today!

Today, I leave for Nashville! The end tally of girls ended up being 16! Sooooooooooooo exciting. 4 of us are coming from MN. So when I get there I'll be meeting 12 new people! I can hardly STAND my excitment!

Just what the doctor ordered!

I'm headed to Nahsville to hang out with the girls! I'm flying out with my girls Stephanie (AKA Vsnatch), Kari and also with Kristin who I have yet to meet. We are going to head to "Nashvegas" to see Nic-ho, Amy, Mir, KB, Val, Azzhole, Colleen and Jackie. We still have our hopes up that Jess, Allison, Melissa, Marie-ho, Michelle, Cate and Rach show up as well!

A little drinking, gossiping, drinking, shopping and DRINKING are on our "To Do" list! We can not WAIT!




Also, on my to do list, my inlaws and us have booked a CRUISE! That will give us a much needed hide away in January!

Imaginary Friends

We just got done talking some shizzit and eatin some JJ's. It was a nice little afternoon on wheels!

First day of summer.....

Today was my first official day of summer! It was a great one.

I slept until 8:00am. I woke up at my leasure (thanks to Grandma taking Izze overnight) and I came down to chat with my friends. My friend Mir was being induced today, so that was PURE excitement. I even got to chat with her on AOL while she was enjoying her epidural!

I went for my very first run. I'm not good at this yet, and I was only out there for 25 minutes, but I did it, so that counts for something. I came back to find that Mir was 8 cm dialated! Yay! An hour later, she had her baby Wes! He's beautiful.

Around that time Izze came home and we had lunch together. She told me about her day. Then she took a nap.

While she napped my mother taught me to use our lawn mower! (LOL...daddy if your reading this take a DEEP breath, it is okay). I mowed, and while I feel my artistic circles in the lawn are QUITE beautiful, I do not know what the land lord will think.

Izze and I played for a while longer and then it was time for her FIRST swimming lesson! Oh the joys! She loved it!

I went to a Tastefully simple party at my friend Shawns and daddy put Izze to bed. Now I'm off to bed and looking forward to day two!

I am a Pixie.....

My daughter, my world, my life....she is my pixie baby, she is my first born, my strong willed little sassy girl who will grow up into a beautiful woman I hope to some day befriend. She is always in my heart, and now she is behind it.....

My friends, the pixies, the women I have grown a bond so strong with I would do much anything for. We are mothers, we are women and most of all we are friends. We have the bond of our children to connect us and relationships we have choosen to build to keep that strong. They always have my back, and now they are on it.....

My husband, who is the kindest, most gental man, the father to my beutiful girl, my lover, my partner in life and my friend. We do most everything together, and this is just one more of those things....

For My Canadian Friends....

I layed in bed last night thinking about this, so I thought it was only right that I blog about it.

It has always baffeled me why there are two ways to write certain words that mean the same thing and I believe are pronounced the exact same thing. I mean I get it when the words have different meanings: two, to, too. But there are some words that just don't make sense to me. How do I know which to use? Or do I not use any of the second options, because I'm American? Now that I have all of these Canadian friends, I'm noticing these spellings go hand in hand with them....but again, maybe they are not pronounced the same, I have yet to HEAR these words said. I know its not a matter of right versus wrong, but is there a difference....
