Mommy Duties

Let me start by saying my husband is a great daddy, a smart man and a very capeable human being. That being said...there are some things that I do in our daily lives that are just sooo hard for me to turn over. My mommy duties. I know perfectly well that he can get Izze dressed and pick out her outfit, but thats my job. I know that he can drop her at daycare and pick her up, but those are my jobs. He could decide what she should eat at meal times, but I do that. So as I sit here after letting him do a MOMMY job, I've got 8000 questions running through my head. When you picked her up did you ask if she napped, did you ask how long, did you find out what she had for lunch, did she have a good day, was she happy when you got there, was she sad cause you weren't mommy, or was she elated that you weren't mommy.....and instead of asking, becasue I dont want to insult anyones capabilities, I sit here and suffer in silence and think to myself, its much easier to just do it myself. But there is always tomorrow.
