Summer comes and summer goes

Its almost time for school to start! UGG where does the summer go?!

I feel like it just started. We were gone more then we were home during June and July. Which isn't something to complain about, yet I feel like I lost a ton of summer because of it! At least I have maternity leave to look forward to :-)

I get a change this year. When I go back, I will not have a class of my own. I will instead have 12. 12 classes of students learning computer! It will be different. I am sad to lose my "own" class but super excited with what being a "specialist" could bring. Wish me luck.

Izze girl is starting KINDERGARTEN. How did THAT happen?! I'm super excited. I know some moms get sad, but I'm really not. I'm proud and happy. She's sooo smart and I can't wait to see what she will learn!!!

Caden heads back to daycare at "Mary Ginas" He needs it. Structure. Someone who tells him no. His momma's no good at that. Its not my fault though, its those dang toddler briefs that he runs around in. How cute. Why is it tighty whiteys are sooo dang adorable on a 3 year old and look just absolutely rediculous on grown men? Either way, those little unders he's learnign to wear, they win my heart all too easily.

Baby Zuppa (we have dubbed her after the thing, the only thing, i have craved this pregnancy) is cookin away. Still about 15 ish weeks go go? I'm sure they will fly by!

Where to put it?!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and as I look around my house, I honestly wonder where we will put it.

Every extra inch is covered in toys.

There isn't much I love more then a good toy purge, but when I just sat down to do it, I honestly almost started crying. I just dont know what to do. I have a donate bucket, a garbage bucket, a send to grandma's bucket and anything we are keeping is going to be immediately put away (if it doesnt have a spot its NOT staying).

Yet I sit in front of that pile and just stare. I have no motivation for anything but crying. I just want it to go away.

If you can make it go away, I will pay you. Big money. I'm to the point that I can see how a one would want to burn their house to the floor and just start from scratch.

WE just did a toy purge at Christmas, a big one. HOW in the world did it multiply so fast? And how to I make sure it doesn't keep happening. How do I get this sorted and down to minimal clutter again when looking at it causes such depression I want to go to my room and never come back out.

Lord, is there a prayer for THIS!?

I'm IN!

Mom You're my best friend!

Aren't those the best words ever?!

They melt my heart.
Even if they DID come after a long list of others:

Matty and Hailey and Sydney are my best friends in my class.
Nolan and Reagan are my best friends outside of school.
Evie and Ava are my best freinds from dance and your class.
My cousins are lots of my best friends.
Caden is my best friend.
OH at school I forgot that Marshall and Duncan are my best friends too.
I have a lot of best friends.

Me: What about me? Can I be your best friend?

OH YES. MOM YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND!

So it came at the end of a long list.
And I may have had to beg for it a little.
But it came with a big hug and a smile so huge I forgot all that preceded it.

I'm IN!

The new Boots...

Words
My baby just came flying up the stairs at mock 10 speed yelling "mom! mom!" Not the usual "mommommomm" but real words. I don't like it one bit. My baby is NOT allowed to grow so fast.

His favorites...."WOOOOOW!" "Yeeeeeah!" both of those always drawn out!

"Yeeeeah-sh" (yes)

"Ball!" (if he doesn't know what something is and he wants it, it becomes ball-though he does know what a ball really is)

Daddad!

Mitch! (Though JJ is really his favorite)

Getting Places
He can walk now, but thankfully he doesn't feel the need. Crawling is faster so while he will walk short distances he finds it much easier to crawl up right on just his knees in crawling walk. But if you could run a marathon based on your dancing skills, this kid would win the Boston. He dances like crazy....

Eating

He gets mighty confused when its time to eat. He THINKS he hates everything, and instantly shakes his head no at the sight of food. But then realizes you really have a cookie and his no turns into a yes...but since he doesn't really trust you, he keeps the no too....so its a LARGE circle with his head. Undecided.

Dora

Dora asks....what letter is missng to help spell *#$# ?
And the answer is always "O!

"Will this help get out of the net?"
*Backpack circles a balloon*
"UuuuH" *with a head shake to mean no*

"Will this help get out of the net?"
*Backpack circles a feather*
"UuuuH" *with a head shake to mean no*

"Will this help get out of the net?"
*Backpack shows a scissors*
"UuuuH" *with a head shake to mean no*

(this should have been yes but he insists Dora is ALWAYS wrong, he must wonder why she deserves her own show when she needs sooo much personal help from him, where would she be without him....really he's more helpful then boots!)

And as I write this, Dora sings the "We did it" song and he comes flying in the kitchen (on his knees of course) to yell "yeeeeeeeeeeah!" as he dances that little watermelon head all around his broomstick body!

He cracks me up!

Labor Day is TOMORROW

Once again. Its come. Labor day. For the past few years, I've taken the day to spoil myself some and to reflect on how big my girl is getting. Unfortunately, the bastards in our HR department swiped all of my time off and I will not be able to do that this year. So instead, I'll go to work, come home for naps and cuddles, and head to the gym when Kevin gets home. I'll grocery shop and plug myself into some lovely Greys. Then I'll fall asleep only to be woken to find that my baby is now THREE YEARS OLD!

How fast time goes!
