A day with my girl.....

Growing up, mom alwasy took me to fun shows. We saw Seasame Street live, Barbie on Ice, Aladin on Ice (yes, steph and I were 15 years old, but loved it anyways), and Monsters Inc on ice (at age 23). Those are the ones I remember, there were many others.

Mom took Izze to her first show while I was on my cruise. Elmo Live. She loved it. Today, mom and I went with Chloe, Cam and Izze to see "Finding Nemo on Ice". What a great time! I love it as much as the kids. I got all weepy thinking what great memories we were creating. Watching her "take it all in". She doesnt know "nemo" but loved it anyways. I forgot that the Disney Crew (Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy) always make an appearance at the start and finish of the show. That in itself made me get all nostalgic.

2 hour show, during nap time, no food, and the girl was on the best behavior ever. She loved it. I'm not sure which was better: the show or watching her love the show. Either way, it was a GREAT day. And when I look at my little princess who's all grown up, I can't WAIT for the rest of the days we get to share........

Weekends

They go so fast. We fit so much into them. The variety is unbelievable.
This weekend I:

• Had dinner with all of our mothers and one of my dads, plus Grandma Dee
• Saw a very crabby Izze for a morning
• Saw a very happy Izze for a morning
• Took my Izze-Kitty to the Enchanted Forest
• 
• Went on a date with my husband
• Went to bed at 9pm
• Stayed up till 1am
• Woke up at 6am
• Slept in until 9am
• Took my baby on her first horse ride
• Won $50
• Took a nap
• Started my own buisiness
• Made a homeade alfredo sauce pizza!
• Played in the leaves
• 

And now I'm ready to end this crazy busy but fun weekend with a nice litte time in bed watching desperate housewives!

A Day at the Zoo

Izze, Kev and I spent the day at the zoo. We saw the monkeys. Which she loved. I got a hug for it. As if to say, thank you mom for sharing this special and interesting animal with me. She said "ooooh mon" which I assume meant OOH look at the monkeys!

She learned to say "camo" (camel). I did my best not to follow up with the word toe and lots of giggles. She also learned to say "buffo" (buffalo), she practiced up on the word "shish" and the snake sounds "ssssssssssssssss." She saw lots of "kiee kiee's" (Meercats, fishing cats, tigers all qualified).

I think her favorite, like her mom, was the monkeys. But she did enjoy ohing and ahing over raisins and birds at the bird show. I think it was more about the raisins though. It was a VERY fun day and now mom and Izze are ready for naps!
