The most interesting thing happened to me today. I was coloring easter eggs with my mom, my brother and Izze. We were using FRESH eggs from my aunts farm, from real chickens that we have met. They of course come out all sorts of interesting shades of brown, some are speckaled some are plain and some are GREEN. Did you know this? Did you know eggs are really green. I seriously thought Dr. Seuss pulled that story straight out of his ass! I did not know green eggs were a real thing! So, thats the most interesting thing that happened today: I learned about green eggs. I was sooo vastly impressed by my green egg that I took a Sharpie and wrote my name right on it, no dye involved! My perfect egg! I also got to dye brown eggs for the first time. At first I was frumpy about this. "Mommy they wont color RIGHT". She insisted I try. So I did, and those eggs had the deepest, most vibrant color I've ever seen an easter egg achieve! Can I get a wooooo hoooo for that?!
Note to self....green eggs DO exist and ALWAYS color BROWN Easter eggs instead of white!

Oh, oh, oh! I meant to tell you that I made a little mental note of your remarks about the vibrant colors of your easter eggs when you used the brown ones...and when shopping for eggs to color I decided to give the brown ones a go.
And you're right! They were so bright and gorgeous. Not to mention delicious.
So thanks for that little pointer.
