Best Vacation....THIS WEEK!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww....I'm back!

Do you ever have one of those vacations where you need a vacation FROM the vacation. Ha ha ha. I'm only kidding. I had a GREAT time. I saw lots of things, got a little sun and some QUALITY family time.

Vegas is always a good time, but of course, the problem is, its not my ideal time. My ideal day is on a beach in the sun with a daquari. Vegas is too fast moving for that. But that being said, I enjoyed myself. We did tons of stuff that I would have never done had people not been with me. Last time Kev and I went to Vegas we split up, I was at the pool, he gambeled or went site seeing. This time we did things together.

Then of course we also did most of the things with my family. Let me just say, Vegas--- NOT meant for kids. Or maybe, me--not meant to travel with them! Ha ha. I love my sister most days, but boy can that girl talk and does she get bored easily. Goodness sakes. BUT in her defence, it isn't just HER, I remember my trip to Mexico last year quite well, and there is this age when children all of a sudden reach a point where they are GREAT on vacation. Last year, Linnea hit it at 12, Bridgette just made it at 16, and the young ones, NO CHANCE. This year, Chloe is also 12, but its a different one, she hadn't reached that "Lets kick back and relax" mark, nor the "how about we do something YOU want to do mom" nor the "okay I'll unhappily do what you want but I won't whine about it".

That being said, the next time I have a chance to travel with my family, will I do it? Yes, because MAYBE that age will be reached, or MAYBE it won't...but ya know what, it sure as hell makes life interesting. On that note, I'm gonna sit back, put on my invisible glasses and just bask in the joy that is silence.
